Today, Tuesday March 1 is National Pancake Day (according to IHOP).  From 7am-10pm, you can head over to IHOP (there's one on 611, North of Cheltenham) to get one free short stack per customer.  They will ask for a voluntary donation, which goes to the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and other local charities.

Also, starting today, Avenida (7402 Germantown Ave.) will be starting their Ninos Happy Hour!  The Latin-inspired restaurant voted Best Kids Menu by Philadelphia magazine, is launching two-hours of kid-friendy specials intended to bring a smile to the whole family.  Niños Happy Hour is offered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 5-7pm.
