Experience new worlds, imaginative stories and compelling characters as part of Philadelphia 

Young Playwrights annual staged readings of winning elementary and middle school plays authored by students from across the region. All programs are directed by Peter Reynolds and performed by undergraduate actors, in collaboration with Temple University Theaters. Content is appropriate for all ages. A pre-show coffee reception will kick off at 10 a.m. The show will begin at 11 a.m.

Saturday is also the Children's Music Festival at St. Peter's Church in Glenside with singers Peter Moses, Beth Fox, and Mr. David C. Perry.  From 10am-1pm to benefit Rubye's Kids, a non-profit serving children in poverty.  Tickets are $8 each or $25 for a family pack of four.

It’s that time once again for Wissahickon Skating Club’s biennial ice show extravaganza, Wisscapades! This year’s theme is "Wisscapades Around the World" and will feature music from all over the globe.  The performances will be held Friday and Saturday evening at 7:30 p.m.  Skaters of all ages and abilities, including figure skaters, hockey players and synchronized skating team members will join together for this spectacular show! As a special added attraction, several nationally ranked guest stars will perform.  Adult $15, Ages 4-12 $10, ages 3 & under: free.
