Jen is a college professor and mom to four great kids living in the GAP area. She's worked with students from preschoolers, kindergartners, and first graders to college students, grad students, and teachers. But with four kids at home, it's really like having her very own lab school.

Maleka is a mama of three, writer, artist, aspiring activist, and the events coordinator at Big Blue Marble Bookstore. She's done poetry readings at a variety of venues throughout Philadelphia, organizes the kid programming for Greenfest Philly, and tries to find time to actually read. She lives and loves in Germantown.

Middle School Writer
Sporty is a 6th grade student who lives and plays in the GAP area. Sporty plays a mean Macbeth, is a rockin' guitarist, basketball and baseball player, and rounds it all out in the fall with soccer.
Ms. Harry Potter

Ms. Harry Potter is a second grader who also lives and plays in the GAP area. She is an avid Harry Potter fan, swimmer, talented pianist, and quite possibly the best note writer ever.
Luke Skywalker
Preschool Dictator
Luke is a preschooler who also lives and plays in the GAP area. Still working on his literacy skills, he dictates his ideas for GAP (thus his title). Skywalker is an expert about all things Lego Star Wars, swimmer, drummer, and interpretive dancer.
Heiress to the Throne
Assistant Preschool Dictator
Her highness is an even younger preschooler also living and playing in the GAP area. She is solidly in the middle of her "princess phase", which we all hope is a quick one. But like all true Cinderellas, she is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside.
