Friday is Opening Day at the Rita's in Ivy Ridge!  This means 50% off everything all day Friday! 7132 Ridge Ave.

The Big Backyard's annual Winter Funfest will be held on Saturday, February 26, 3:30-7:00 p.m. at Grace Epiphany Episcopal Church, 240 E. Gowen Avenue.  Come and dance away the winter blues at the disco dance party!  This BBY fundraiser will also feature a bouncy castle, games, prizes, and food, so plan to stay for dinner.  Admission is $6.00 per person, not to exceed $20 per family; children aged younger than 1 year are admitted free.  For more information, call 215-248-0919.

Stop in at O'doodles Toystore to make an Origami Frog and belt out some karaoke tunes on Saturday from 11-3pm.

Saturday 11am-3pm... Maple Sugaring on Forbidden Drive (near Northwestern Avenue). There will be ongoing maple sugaring demonstrations, pancakes served with real maple syrup, a taste test of many different pancake toppings, as well as freshly made maple candy to taste. Pennsylvania maple syrup products will be available for purchase. All ages welcome.  FREE.

Sunday 1-3pm Witchhazel is Your Favorite?  Grab your family and head over to the Morris Arboretum for a day of fun and exploration. Follow the scavenger hunt to discover the many varieties of witchhazels growing at the Arboretum. Ranging in color from yellow and orange to pink and red, witchhazels are some of the first harbingers of spring. Compare their beautiful flowers and take in their heady scent. After your hunt, stop back at the Visitor Center and make a fun craft. This event is free with regular admission and registration is not required.

Sunday is also the Multicultural & Diversity Festival at Springside School and Chestnut Hill Academy from 3-6pm.
