Chestnut Hill College will be decked out for the holidays when it holds it's annual "Carol Night" on Friday Dec. 3 at 7:30pm in the breathtaking Rotunda at St. Joseph's Hall. Hear lots of Christmas favorites in one of the prettiest and most acoustical buildings in town. (and be treated to a visit from Santa too).
If you can't make it at night, there are Christmas Concerts on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 3 p.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Lafayette Hill, Pa. and Sunday, December 5, 2010 at 3 p.m. at Mount St. Joseph Academy on Wissahickon Avenue in Flourtown.
All events are free and open to the public.

Another Friday night option is to kick of Mt. Airy's First Friday with the Tree Lighting and Carolling on the campus of the Lutheran Theological Seminary at 7301 Germantown Ave. Carollers will be led by seminary choir and musicians, and attendees are encouraged to bring new unwrapped toys for children under 12. Friday night 12/3 at 6pm.

If you're more interested in shopping than singing, Chestnut Hill's Reindeer Dash should be a good fit for you: Donate $5 for reindeer antlers. Wear those antlers, and shops and restaurants will reward your efforts with holiday treats and specials as you “dash” around Chestnut Hill. Antlers may be purchased at: Artisans on the Avenue, The Candle Shhop, Chestnut Grill, Cobblestones, Diamond Spa, Fabrics on the Hill, Quelque Chose, O’Doodles Toy Store and Valley Green Bank. 6-9pm Friday night 12/3.And some ongoing, previously mentioned holiday treats...
