Meant to put this in the weekend post, but I forgot. Today (Saturday May 7) is Mt. Airy Day! 11am-5pm along the Avenue... 6400 section, on the Clividen grounds. Bands, food, shopping, and a rockin' kid zone (very bounce-friendly). We went last year and had a lovely day... should be cooler weather this year than last!
And after you hit the festival, come chill out in Pastorius Park in Chestnut Hill. Rock the Park! will be held from 6-9:45pm with live music. $5 entry fee goes to benefit Operation Smile, an organization dedicated to providing life-saving and life-changing cleft palate surgery to children around the world. Outdoors, weather permitting.
