As usual, there are some great events and activities for kids at the Morris Arboretum right now, including a "bird's nest" for people (open now), a scarecrow design contest (register by Sep. 18; entries displayed Oct. 3-18) , and little lighthouses made from leaves, bark, vines and twigs (the garden railway's summer display).
Editor's Note: With this modest post, we're getting back into the habit of providing news and information for local parents, after taking much of the summer off, due to travel.
